Octopus on Slate, Original Watercolour Painting

An original watercolour painting, featuring a common octopus on a found piece of found slate.

This piece has been hand painted on a piece of Cornish slate using watercolours, and then sealed with a varnish for a shiny finish and to protect the painting.

This octopus is roughly 8 x 8 1/2 inches in size. Please note as each piece of slate is natural each edge will vary slightly in sizing.

This piece comes professionally framed in a marine inspired wooden box frame, with art glass to protect the painting from UV and sunlight, as well as to give the look of no glass.
