Ocean Lover's Guide Workshop on Porthpean Beach - 1st September (3hr Workshop)
The Ocean Lover's Guide workshop on Porthpean Beach will be a fun and interactive workshop where you will learn all about the incredible species right here on our shores in Cornwall. The workshop will involve heading out on a group rockpool where you'll learn how to find species when rockpooling. We'll discover different species, chat about some fun facts about them and do some quick sketches. After a fun rockpooling session, we'll head further up the beach to sit down for a post rock pool debrief and paint! We'll chat through what we saw and i'll then guide you through creating a watercolour painting from your rockpool finds.

What's included:
All painting equipment is included in your ticket, to help you create your ocean masterpiece. As well as reference cards for identifying species when rockpooling.
You can opt to add on a copy of the Ocean Lover’s Guide at an additional fee.
What you need to bring:
The weather can be unpredictable in Cornwall, so please make sure you are prepared for the cold or the sunshine. Make sure to pack layers, a coat and suncream. As well as sensible shoes for rockpooling, it can be slippy getting over the rocks so please wear something waterproof and with good grip!
Please also bring some drinks and snacks along with you.
Whether you're a seasoned ocean enthusiast or just starting to dip your toes in the water, this workshop is perfect for all ages. So grab your sunscreen and beach towel, and come join us at Porthpean Beach for a day of learning and ocean appreciation!
