Queenstown Art Now Exhibition

Wow! What an incredible exhibition. I was absolutely honoured to get to take part in Queenstown Contemporary’s ‘Queenstown Art Now’ Exhibition! This exhibition was a celebration of ALL local art… no theme or application process, just over 70 incredible local artist sharing the art they do best.

An absolutely innovative and brilliant idea from Queenstown Contemporary and a night seeing so many beautiful pieces of art that I felt so happy to get to exhibit next to. On a personal note, I always find it an amazing experience to get to show my work… its scary because well you are putting your work out there for the whole world to judge but it is also a perfect way to see all your hard work pay off.

For this opening I got to see a room full of people enjoying art, I got to see so many people stopping to look at my art and I even found out that my work SOLD on opening night which is probably one of the most amazing feelings ever! I still feel so new to this whole art scene and I am still working very hard to get my work seen and known, so that feeling of having someone look at my art for a couple hours at an exhibition and choose to buy it is so incredible!
